Road Closed to Automobiles
The road has closed to automobiles for the season and will not be open again until spring 2012. During the winter, you can reach Burgdorf by snowmobile or other snow approved vehicle. Soon the road will be groomed and maintained on a regular basis for this purpose.

How far down Warren Wagon Rd. can you drive in winter? I.E. how much do you have to travel via (snow device – i.e. snow mobile, x-country skiis, etc.?) The entire distance? Or do they maintain part of the Warren Rd. north out of McCall? What, if any roads out of McCall do they maintain? I.E. I’ve heard you can drive to Yellow Pine still, how would one do that? I’m also asking to know if it’s possible to SKI in and stay in a cabin at Burgdorf. Thx, Noah!
I apologize for the slow reply.. Warren Wagon Road is plowed for the first 10 miles. From there it’s another 20 miles on groomed snowmobile trail to Burgdorf. We have had a few cross country skiers make it up here this winter but they always come with someone in a snowmobile to carry their gear and back them up.
